 The major influence in Bob DeSena’s personal music career was the legendary vibraphonist Roy Ayers.

DeSena was passionately infatuated with the sound of the vibes and its contribution to Latin music. Other important Latin / Jazz influences were the late great Tito Puente, Cal Tjader, Herb Alpert and Antonio Carlos Jobim. As a vocalist, Bob also idolized such icons as Frank Sinatra, Matt Monroe among others.

An impressive musician, Bob DeSena plays a multitude of instruments that include vibes, trumpet, flugelhorn and vocalist.

His group consists of very talented musicians plus DeSena, making for an entertaining and vibrant ensemble that performs classic standards and Latin standards with an energetic feel.
